The exhibition
Experience
One of the ideas in this exhibition was to break the common way of viewing photography from a distance.
To make a viewer come closer to the photo, I have used a mirror. I have placed a mirror on a particular angle that can be only viewed from above. The mirror is narrow enough to only show the eyes of a viewer, which are “the window to the soul”.
The concept “Only you can know you” tries to explore the idea of physical and invisible. No one can truly know anyone better than themselves.
Concept
Only you can know you.
What matters the most: the body or the mind? One should focus on the missing part, and not be guided by the visible. Understanding the inside matters.
The body cannot fulfill you. It can make you sense something, or bring you emotions, but it cannot solve a problem, or find the solution to internal peace.
If you cannot see that, you are limited in your life only by some senses and emotions that your body can give. Without paying attention to thoughts, you will never be satisfied. You will not see your life clearly and you will always have a feeling that something is missing.
